Create a sophisticated awards experience worthy of Atlanta’s small business community.

Hosted by the HUBZone Contractors National Council, the Small Business Industry Awards Gala took place on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Whitehall Ballroom inside Atlanta Ballrooms in Atlanta.

The black-tie-optional evening brought together small businesses, industry leaders and socio-economic partners for dinner, cocktails, networking and a formal awards program.

The production needed to feel elegant, celebratory and highly coordinated. Stage design, décor, lighting, custom content and video playback all had to support the flow of the evening while maintaining a cohesive visual identity from guest arrival through the final award presentation.

One creative and technical team shaping every visual moment of the gala.

Max AV Production led the event’s visual and production design from concept through execution. By integrating staging, décor, lighting, content and show operation under one team, the gala maintained a polished, consistent look across every award presentation, transition and guest-facing moment.

01

Custom stage and décor design

MaxAVP designed the stage environment and décor package to create a formal awards-show aesthetic appropriate for a black-tie gala. Scenic choices, presenter positions, branding and room sightlines were developed together through the same process used in our Atlanta stage design and scenic production work.

02

Lighting designed for atmosphere, presenters and photography

A complete lighting package shaped the ballroom, highlighted the stage and created camera-ready looks for award presentations and guest photography. Color, intensity and cue timing were coordinated to support both the formal program and celebratory moments.

03

Custom branded content and event graphics

MaxAVP created custom visual content for the show, including branded screens, award graphics, transitions and presentation media. Every visual asset was designed to reinforce the event identity and maintain consistency throughout the program.

04

Video production and content playback

The video workflow supported award segments, sponsor recognition, branded content and live show playback. Content was organized and operated as part of the run of show, keeping each presentation clean, timely and visually polished. Learn more about our corporate video production services.

05

Complete event production and show execution

MaxAVP designed and produced the full event experience, coordinating creative direction, technical systems, content, staging, lighting and on-site execution. The integrated approach reduced handoff gaps and gave the client one accountable production partner from planning through the final cue.

A cohesive gala production built around recognition, hospitality and visual impact.

MaxAVP delivered a unified awards-show environment that supported formal presentations, guest networking and memorable celebration moments from the opening reception through the final award.

A unified visual identity

Stage design, décor, lighting and branded content worked together as one complete environment.

Polished award presentations

Custom content and show cueing kept every recognition segment clean, timely and visually consistent.

Camera-ready celebration

Lighting and scenic choices supported professional photography and high-impact on-stage moments.

One accountable production team

Creative design, content, technical systems and on-site execution were coordinated through MaxAVP.

Awards galas succeed when production elevates both the honorees and the guest experience.

A gala is more than a stage and a dinner. Every transition, lighting look, graphic and recognition moment contributes to how the audience experiences the event and how the honorees remember it.

The Small Business Industry Awards Gala demonstrates the single-source production approach MaxAVP brings to corporate galas and awards events in Atlanta: creative direction, technical planning and show execution developed together from the start.
