What surfaces can you projection map?
Almost any surface with enough contrast and a mappable geometry works, building facades, stage backdrops, set pieces, vehicles, product packaging and irregular structures. We start every project with an on-site survey or 3D scan so the content is built to the exact shape and distance of your surface.
Does projection mapping work outdoors and in daylight?
Yes, with the right projector brightness for the environment. Outdoor and daytime mapping needs significantly higher lumen output and often a shaded or evening window for full impact, which we factor into the equipment plan during the site survey.
How far in advance do you need to plan a projection mapping project?
