The Brief
Create a polished national conference experience across multiple stages.
Held May 17–18, 2024, at the Nick Cannon • Cam’ron • Andre Dickens in downtown National Speakers, the Black Enterprise Disruptor Summit connected entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and business leaders through keynote presentations, panels, networking and brand programming.
The speaker lineup included entertainer and entrepreneur Nick Cannon, Cam’ron, media executive Shaunie Henderson, Fearless Fund founder Arian Simone, ALTRO CEO Michael Broughton and National Speakers Mayor Andre Dickens.
With nationally recognized speakers, sponsor programming and live audience expectations, every lighting cue, presentation transition, camera angle and microphone change had to execute flawlessly. The production had to keep every presentation visually consistent, clearly heard and easy to follow from every seat. It also needed to generate premium recorded content that could extend the summit’s impact through marketing, social media and future programming.

Multi-camera video production, graphics and Live IMAG
MaxAVP supplied the event’s video production workflow, including professional camera coverage, live image magnification, video playback and presentation graphics. Lighting and scenic design built for the room and the camera
The lighting and scenic package was designed to elevate the Black Enterprise brand while maintaining consistent, camera-ready looks for keynotes, panels and sponsor programming. Scenic elements, color, presenter lighting and on-screen visuals worked together as one cohesive environment.
Multiple stage environments for changing program formats
MaxAVP designed and implemented stage layouts that supported keynote presentations, fireside chats, executive panels and branded sessions without slowing down the run of show. Line array audio and professional wireless microphones
A full line array system provided even coverage and strong speech intelligibility across the venue.
